BitCoinHealth coin: How to Mine with Windows GPU PC
Updated: Apr 29, 2020
What are GPU's? A graphics processing unit (GPU) is a specialized electronic circuit designed to rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate parallel processing and rapidly help solving advanced mathematical processes running on computers. Their structure makes them more efficient than general-purpose central processing units (CPUs) for algorithms that process large blocks of data in parallel. In a personal computer, a GPU can be present on a video card or embedded on the motherboard. Current commercial vendors for video cards include GPU cards made by Nvidia.
GPUs perform much more work for every unit of energy than CPUs. That makes them key to supercomputers that would otherwise push past the limits of today’s electrical grids.
In AI, GPUs have become key to a technology called “deep learning.” Deep learning pours vast quantities of data through neural networks, training them to perform tasks too complicated for any human coder to describe.
BitcoinHealth coin utilizes PC and MAC GPU's to allow mining of the BitcoinHealth cryptocurrency during the early stages of the blockchain network. Bitcoinhealth coin is build on the Bitcoin core frameworks for its blockchain. To Mine the coin on PC or MAC with GPU, see instructions below or: https://github.com/bitcoinhealth/bitcoinhealth/blob/master/MINING.md
BITCOINHEALTH coin MINING
Early MINING can be performed on Windows and Linux computers with GPU's installed.
To Mine on Windows PC's with GPU:
Install the Windows Ubuntu plug in. Instructions here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-win10
Select: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS or Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
Follow the Unix-Build.md read me for install instructions:
Go to Bitcoinhealth applicaton directory > Bitcoinhealth/src
Type > explorer.exe . to launch Windows Explorer to view your Ubuntu Bitcoinhealth src directory.
Create the following file bithealthbatch.sh from Windows Explorer
Add the following :
do ./bitcoinhealth-cli: generate 1
Return to Ubuntu cli. Execute ./bithcoinhealthd or src/qt ./bitcoinhealth-qt
Open second Ubuntu cli window. Go to > bitcoinhealth/src
Execute > ./bithealthbatch.sh
Minining begins. Checking Mining status in QT Window.
